Delay in Search

(10:46am ET — See this in your timezone) At present, new listings or changes to existing listings will not be reflected in search on Etsy. We’re working on resolving this situation and hope to have an update shortly.

(11:17am ET — See this in your timezone) We’re continuing to work on this issue with no ETA at present. More updates coming soon.

(11:53am ET — See this in your timezone) A fix is in progress and changes are now starting to appear in search. Please note, buyers were always able to search during this outage and any changes made to listings/new listings will be updated shortly.

(12:29pm ET — See this in your timezone) Search is steadily catching up with all the updates made to listings since a few hours ago. We’re working on speeding that process up now to get us up to date as soon as possible. Be reassured that search is still functioning as normal but with a slight delay.

(3:08pm ET — See this in your timezone) Search is now back up to date and all listings changes are available.

(7:18am ET — See this in your timezone) The issue has now been resolved and the site is now available again – we’re keeping a close eye on things

(7:45am ET — See this in your timezone) We’re manually bringing the site down for a short time to replace a faulty infrastructure component. I will update here when this has been completed.

(8:21am ET — See this in your timezone) The faulty component has now been replaced and the site is up and available as normal. We’re keeping a very close eye on things.

Systems running at a delay

(4:18pm ET — See this in your timezone) We have a few systems that are running a bit slow this afternoon due to load. In particular confirmation emails, and listing renewals are running at a delay of up to 20-30 minutes. We’re cautiously looking at options to tune the system up.

(5:02pm ET — See this in your timezone) We’re still continuing to tune things. We also wanted to let you know while some systems are running a bit slower, we aren’t seeing any drop in sales or increase in errors.

(6:21pm ET — See this in your timezone) Our tune-ups have been successful and things are running smoothly again now, with confirmation emails and listing autorenewals working as expected. We’re still keeping an eye on things on this very busy day to make sure all systems are optimal.
